Jacobs was hurt after a 5-yard run in the third quarter and walked off the field without a limp after getting medical attention. He also injured his left knee against Baltimore on Nov. 9 and missed next week's game in Arizona.

The Giants also lost cornerback Aaron Ross with an ankle injury. He went to the locker room for X-rays and did not return.

"Brandon, it hopefully is not going to be anything big," coach Tom Coughlin said of his star running back.

Philadelphia wide receiver Kevin Curtis left the game with a concussion in the second quarter. Curtis was sidelined earlier in the season after undergoing surgery on a sports hernia during the preseason.
