Sources: Receiver Miles Austin working out with Dallas Cowboys teammates

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin, who had missed the first two weeks of the voluntary offseason program, is working out with teammates this week at Valley Ranch, according to multiple sources.

Austin, who led the Cowboys with 1,320 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns to earn his first Pro Bowl berth last season, had been away from the complex when the workouts started.

Quarterback Tony Romo said last week he wasn't worried about Austin's absence because he knew it was a business decision.

Austin, who spent part of his time in California, is a restricted free agent seeking a long-term deal.

The Cowboys placed a first- and third-round tender on Austin, which is worth $3.168 million for the 2010 season.

David Dunn, Austin's agent, said at the NFL owner's meetings that he held preliminary talks with the Cowboys regarding a new contract, but it appears the Cowboys are not doing anything at this stage.

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said Tuesday on KRLD-FM that the team wants to take care of Austin long-term.

While Austin was away, other wide receivers such as Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton showed up for workouts.

Austin has not signed his tender contract and has until Thursday to receive a contract offer from another team. Austin has not visited any team during this process.
