Sellers' leg was heavily wrapped and he walked to the ambulance on crutches. He was in obvious pain as the ambulance door was being shut.

A team official originally said after the game Sellers had suffered a hip injury and was being transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure. A team official later amended that to say Sellers had suffered a thigh contusion.

The Saints' victory was set up by Sellers' fumble in overtime. He was hit in the legs and flipped by Chris McAlister after making a catch -- a turnover that was only verified after a meticulous replay reversal -- giving the Saints the ball and the eventual win.

Sellers came up limping after the play, and broadcasters said that he had been dealing with a thigh injury. He was wearing an extra thick thigh pad.
