New Viking WR Percy Harvin talks about how exciting it is to be drafted 22nd overall by Minnesota.
Coach Brad Childress told reporters on Friday that Harvin fell ill Thursday morning while changing planes in Atlanta en route to the Vikings' rookie minicamp.
He vomited multiple times in the airport, according to Childress, and was attended to by paramedics.
The Star Tribune reported that Harvin continue his recovery at his home in Gainesville, Fla.
Childress said Harvin tested negative for swine flu and attributed the illness to the pre-draft grind of team visits and workouts.
"It's an unfortunate circumstance, but it is what it is," Childress said.
