LaDainian Tomlinson agrees to deal with New York Jets

LaDainian Tomlinson and the New York Jets reached an agreement Sunday on a two-year deal.

Tomlinson's agent, Tom Condon, confirmed the deal Sunday night.

Tomlinson spent Thursday with the Minnesota Vikings, Friday with the Jets and Saturday flying home to San Diego.

Before he left New York, Tomlinson told some within the Jets organization that he would return soon. He kept his word.

The Jets went after Tomlinson hard despite the fact he turns 31 in June and is coming off his least productive season. He's expected to share carries with Shonn Greene, who became the starter after Thomas Jones was released last week.
