Warner didn't play like a guy facing the end of his career on Sunday. He threw for 379 yards and five touchdowns, without an interception, to lead the Cardinals past the Packers 51-45 in overtime. Arizona advances to a divisional-round playoff game against the Saints on Saturday.
"I don't think you ever want to stay too long, but you never want to go out before it's time," he said after beating the Packers. "The hard part is trying to figure that out, but right now it's about another playoff game. It's about New Orleans and then we'll go from there."
Warner led the Cardinals to the Super Bowl last season where they lost to the Steelers.
Warner has been voted to five Pro Bowls, won two NFL MVP awards and one Super Bowl and became the second quarterback in history to throw more than 100 touchdown passes for two NFL franchises.
Earlier this season, Warner suffered a concussion that raised questions about his future.
